A fun display font made for digital scrapbooking.
why make “papercuts”?
As someone who enjoys scrap booking and making collages digitally, I struggle to add text that matches the crafty nature of my collages. I wanted to design a typeface that takes inspiration from geometric shapes and can be used in headings and posters.
Because I wanted the font to evoke the feeling of child-like joy and carelessness when cutting shapes out of paper, I created each letter by physically cutting them from paper. I then modified each letter by tracing the shapes and making small adjustments.
